We’re here for everyone working, volunteering
or with a professional interest in museums,
art galleries and heritage organisations in the North West and Isle of Man.
We welcome staff and volunteers who work in any museum or heritage role.
Membership
We offer institutional membership for heritage organisations of all sizes and budgets, as well as individual memberships, from just £12 per year.
What we offer
If your museum is already a member or you are an individual member, you can take part in our online and face to face events and training like In Conversation and Museum Basics, as well as other national and regional networking opportunities. As an individual member, you can also apply for small grants to support your professional development.
Museum Basics
Museums Basics are focused, small group training events covering critical practical museum knowledge, like object marking and labelling, packing and storage, and disaster planning.
Small Grants
We’re delighted to offer Small Grants of up to £200 for individual members towards professional development activities.
