Constitutional changes, the new logo and strapline, role of the Shadow Board, the proposed Coordinator’s post, the draft Business Plan, and regional partnerships were discussed at this meeting.
The partnerships with NML and RNW were disussed, along with the new website, constitutional changes, draft Business plan, and the summer focus groups. Updates on finance, grants and the meetings programme were also provided.
The Federation took a significant step forward by deciding its future constitution at an EGM held on 27th November 2008 at the Makin Theatre, National Museums Liverpool (NML). At this meeting the arguments for incorporating the organisation were presented. Options for the new structure, and the authority to implement it were put to a vote.

The new website, new constitution, new business plan and the EGM were discussed at this meeting, along with future meetings, finance, membership and updates from the Museums Association (MA) and Renaissance North West.
