PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: MDNW Emerging Leaders Programme 2019

Museum Development North West have released a call out for applications to their Emerging Leaders Programme 2019.

Emerging Leaders: Management and Leadership Essentials is a professional development programme designed to help early career professionals build the skills they need to be a successful manager and leader. The six-month programme includes: six full-day subject and skills-based workshops in key areas such as leadership styles, coaching, influencing and personal resilience, as well as follow-up activities between the workshops to help you apply your learning back at work; an opportunity to seek 360° feedback at work to help you understand your skills strengths and areas for development; time for you to work on your own personal development planning, including 1:1 coaching with the programme leaders; opportunities to work with other participants, sharing knowledge and experiences; and study membership of the Institute of Leadership and Management for the duration of the programme, including access to a wide range of online resources to support your learning.

There are 10 places available for those working in Accredited museums in the North West on the programme this year, and you either nominate yourself or be nominated. Please note that people working in NPOs or National Museums are not eligible to apply for this programme.
