Funding continues to be a hot topic for museums across the UK – how to secure it, ethical fundraising and what is the best use of scarce resources.  Here in the North West, MDNW want to tackle these issues head on.

Museum Development North West and the North West Development Network (a volunteer run network of fundraising professionals in the North West) are joining forces  this autumn to offer practical advice and support on fundraising. Together with funding organisations, we are delivering a three-part programme which will consist of two workshops and project support.

Session 1: Wednesday 25th September at Chetham’s Library, Manchester

A variety of funders (ACE, NLHF, AIM, MA, Art Fund, Paul Hamlyn Foundation) will deliver sessions on their grant programmes accessible to museums and will include processes, case studies and application guidance.

Session 2: Friday 22nd November at Lancashire Conservation Studios, Preston
